KRAZy Country Cares – Giving Back to the Heart of the Valley

At KRAZy Country, we believe in more than just playing your favorite country hits — we believe in supporting the community that makes the Santa Ynez Valley such a special place. That’s why we’ve launched KRAZy Country Cares, a heartfelt initiative in partnership with Buellton Garage, dedicated to shining a spotlight on local organizations and nonprofits that could use a helping hand.

Each month, we feature a different nonprofit, giving them the recognition they deserve and encouraging our listeners to get involved. This month, we’re proud to support the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society & DAWG — two amazing organizations working tirelessly to protect and care for animals in our valley.

The Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society in partnership with Dog Adoption and Welfare Group is a 501(c)(3) private, non-profit organization governed by a Board of Directors composed of volunteers from the community who are dedicated to animal welfare. Donations to the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society in partnership with Dog Adoption and Welfare Group directly benefit the animals living in our community and are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

As with most charities, the Santa Ynez Valley Humane Society in partnership with Dog Adoption and Welfare Group cannot continue to operate on operational income alone and relies on financial support from fundraising events and donations from the community to keep our doors open. We appreciate your support.

Support Megan and Enza's Healing Journey

Friends, Family and SYV Community,

As many of you may or may not know, Megan and Enza Pecile were involved in a traffic accident on HWY 154 on Sunday, March 30th. Megan and Enza both sustained major injuries in the crash. Megan is now home and recovering from multiple injuries. Enza was taken to Valley Pediatric Center in Madera for further treatment to an injury to her spine. The situation with Enza's condition is fluid and changing all of the time. Currently, the medical staff are determining if surgery will be necessary to repair her spine injury amongst other concerns. The recovery process will be long and ever changing.

Thankfully Megan and Enza are ok. The family is facing a long road of healing and recovery. We have created this page in hope to assist them with the many financial hurdles that will be in the forefront in the coming months. We would be so grateful for any contributions to help this amazing family in this very trying time. Donations would go directly to travel to and from Valley Pediatric for follow up, rehabilitation, missed work and medical expenses.

We would be so grateful for any contributions that will help The Pecile Family in their journey towards healing and recovery. They would like to express that they are so thankful for everyone's messages and prayers over the past few days. Please keep them coming.

Thank you for your prayers and support.
